Run the club, not the spreadsheet.
Roster, dues, club dives and gear loans in one place, with seats held on shop boats and a news board without ads.
The club admin, lifted.
What club officers tell us eats their evenings, and what changes.
Each member has a type and a valid-until date, so you see who is current at a glance.
Mark dues as paid in the roster. The money goes to the club the way it always has.
Any member proposes a dive, officers approve it and assign a qualified leader before it is published.
Seats on a shop’s boat are held for the club, and members sign up themselves.
A club season, start to finish.
From the first new member to the handover to next year’s committee, this is where DiveHive sits in a club year.
New members join, and you see who is current.
Members join by invite link or a request an officer approves. Each one has a free diver account and a member type with a valid-until date.
- Free diver accounts. Certifications and logbook belong to the member and work at every DiveHive shop, not only with your club.
- Types and valid-until dates. Full, student, family or honorary, with a reminder before a membership runs out.
- Juniors through a guardian. A guardian adds the junior to their own account and manages it until the junior is old enough.
Dues without the spreadsheet.
Officers see who is paid up and who is overdue, and tick dues off in the roster.
- Marked paid in the roster. One tick per member, and no second sheet to reconcile.
- The money stays with the club. Members pay you the way they always have. No money moves through DiveHive.
- Members-only trips follow the roster. When a membership expires, members-only trips close for that member.
Club dives: anyone proposes, officers approve.
A member proposes a dive. An officer approves it and names a qualified leader before it goes out to the members.
- Any member can propose. A dive idea becomes a proposal the officers can see, not a message that scrolls away.
- A qualified leader, checked. The club sets the minimum qualification and DiveHive checks it against verified certifications.
- Officers can override, with a reason. The call stays with your committee, and the reason is logged.
Seats on a shop’s boat, held for the club.
An officer reserves a block of seats on a shop’s trip. Members claim their own seats, so nobody relays names by message.
- Members sign up themselves. No more collecting names and forwarding them to the shop.
- Unused seats are released before the trip. The shop gets them back in time to sell them.
- The shop sees only booked divers. Your member list is never shown to a shop.
Dive day, then every log in the right logbook.
The leader writes the dive once, and every diver on it gets a verified copy in their own logbook.
- One log, every logbook. Nobody types the same dive up again on the way home.
- The logbook stays the member’s. It travels with them to the next club and the next shop.
- Cleanup dives count. Mark a dive as a cleanup and record what came out of the water.
The club between dives.
Not every club night is a dive. Events, news and classifieds live in one place members already open.
- Events with RSVP and calendar feeds. Talks, film nights, pool sessions and beach cleanups, with a waitlist when one fills up, in the members’ own calendars.
- A news board and classifieds with no ads. No paid placement. Buyers and sellers settle payment between themselves.
- Your public events reach divers nearby. They appear in the area calendar on their own; members-only events stay members-only.
Gear loans, tracked until it comes back.
The club’s own regulators, BCDs and tanks, lent out with an officer’s say-so.
- Members ask, an officer approves. For one dive or for a number of days.
- Out and back, on record. See what is lent, to whom and when it is due.
- Service dates stay on the item. A damage note goes into its history, with no deposits or billing.
The big trip: a club expedition.
A week away with the club needs more than a group chat. An expedition holds the whole trip in one place.
- Legs, day by day. Dive days at partner shops or simple operators, travel and free days, and a no-fly warning after the last dive.
- Roommates, documents and packing. Who shares a room, whose passport or insurance is still missing, and a packing list for the trip.
- Payment status you tick off. Mark deposit received or paid in full per traveller. The money stays outside DiveHive.
Officers, and the handover.
Clubs run on volunteers who rotate. Roles belong to the club, not to one person’s phone or inbox.
- Officer roles. Each officer gets the part of the club they run: roster, dues, dive approvals or gear.
- Hand a role to next year’s committee. The new officer takes over from where things stand.
- The history stays. Past dives, loans and dues records stay with the club when the people change.

Questions clubs ask.
What does it cost?
Nothing up to 100 members. Above that, one flat fee for the whole club, never per member.
Does DiveHive collect our dues?
No. You mark dues as paid in the roster; the money goes to the club the way it always has.
Do members need a DiveHive account?
Yes, a free diver account. It carries their certifications and logbook, and works at every DiveHive shop too.
Can a shop see our member list?
No. A shop sees the divers booked into its seats, nothing else of the club.
Can juniors be members?
Yes. A guardian adds the junior to their own account and manages it: the guardian signs waivers and approves bookings for under 16s, and at 18 the account is handed over to the junior.
Can we use it with more than one dive shop?
Yes. Seat blocks work with any shop on DiveHive, and each shop sees only the divers booked into its own seats.
Does it replace our group chat?
No, and it is not meant to. DiveHive has events with RSVP and a news board, not real-time chat. Keep the chat for banter; who is on a dive and who leads it lives where every member can see it.
